Hound Spotlight – Cameron F.
Cameron is a grade 11 student. He is a kind hearted, humble young man who truly exemplifies what it means to be a Hound. While only in grade 11, he demonstrates great leadership, work ethic and responsibility in the dorm and on the ice. From the very first week in the dorms he was a very friendly face, welcoming and helping new students learn the ropes. He has worked very hard every year to improve his play on the ice – he started his Notre Dame career on the Bantam AA team, last year he played Tier II and this year he made Shapka’s Midget AA team, where he was a significant offensive threat and contributed to their provincial championship. Similar to his on ice work ethic, Cameron is a very diligent student – working hard to excel academically. Cameron’s positive attitude and can-do attitude is infectious amongst his peers. He is well respected by his peers, offering a helping hand when someone is in need or rounding up a group of boys to support their peers at red and white night, Cam embodies the characteristic of a Notre Dame Man.
