  • Bachelor of Arts from Notre Dame & a B. Ed. from Mount Allison
  • Taught English, health, & physical education, most notably at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate from 1956 to 1990.
  • She coached basketball and track & field at Sheldon-Williams Collegiate winning 9 city high school championships in the former (including 5 straight from 1963-1967) and 25 city championships in the latter.
  • Wilma served as president of the Regina High School Athletics Association three times between 1958 and 1969, and was elected to the Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association executive in 1968.
  • Awards include Saskatchewan Physical Education Award of Merit, Regina High School Athletic Association Award of Merit, Saskatchewan High School Athletic Association Award of Merit, Athol Murray College of Notre Dame Medal of Honour, Saskatchewan Volunteer Recognition Award, and the Regina Volunteer Award,
